Stalling Information
Stalls must be purchased separately for the North of the Border Canadian Qualifier Rodeo and the Canadian High School/Junior High Finals Rodeo at the time of entry.
North of the Border Qualifier Rodeo
$110 per stall, per horse
Includes a $50 refundable clean-out deposit
Net stall cost: $60 ($30/day for 2 days)
Canadian High School Finals / Canadian Junior High Finals
$140 per stall, per horse
Includes a $50 refundable clean-out deposit
Net stall cost: $90 ($30/day for 3 days)
Contestants competing in both the North of the Border Qualifier Rodeo and the Canadian Finals Rodeo will be required to purchase stalls through each event registration. As a result, a total of $100 in refundable clean-out deposits will be charged ($50 through each event).
Although contestants will remain in the same stall throughout the week, the registration system requires deposits to be collected separately for each event.
Both $50 clean-out deposits will be refunded once stalls have been inspected and cleaned to the satisfaction of event management at the conclusion of the rodeo.
Camping Information
Camping must be purchased separately for the North of the Border Canadian Qualifier Rodeo and the Canadian High School/Junior High Finals Rodeo at the time of entry.
North of the Border Qualifier Rodeo
$60 per camping unit
Covers August 4-6, 2026
Canadian High School Finals / Canadian Junior High Finals
$90 per camping unit
Covers August 7-9, 2026
Contestants and families attending both the North of the Border Qualifier Rodeo and the Canadian Finals Rodeo will be required to purchase camping through each event registration. Although you will remain in the same camping location throughout the week, the registration system requires camping fees to be collected separately for each event.
Total camping cost for contestants attending both events is $150 per camping unit for the full week.
Camping fees are non-refundable except as outlined in the event turnout policy.

NORTH OF THE BORDER CANADIAN QUALIFIER 2026 - AUGUST 5 & 6, 2026
Entries open May 24, 2026 and close June 30, 2026. Open to any current NHSRA member
High School Rodeo Events Only. No cutting, reined cowhorse or shooting events.
Junior members may enter barrel racing, pole bending, goat tying (girls only), team roping, and tie down roping and compete against high school kids. They are not seperated into juniors and high school
2 Go-Rounds
Champions are determined by fastest times and highest scores on 2 runs/rides. Ties will be broken with points then best round placing
Top 2 from each event qualify for the Canadians Finals Rodeo August 7-9 in Vermilion. No double qualifications. If top 2 already have a spot in Candians then the qualification rolls down to the next kid. Must be a Canadian member to earn a spot to Canadians.
IF A JUNIOR CONTESTANT WINS AN EVENT- all junior members who win their respective event at the North of the Border will compete against their peers in the Junior Rodeo. THEY WILL NOT COMPETE AT THE HIGH SCHOOL LEVEL.
If you qualify for the Canadian Finals, you will need your EQuest Events username and password to enter at the office. Payment will be due at entry time and are payable by credit card or ACH

TURNOUT POLICY
Once entries have closed, no turnouts will be permitted at the North of the Border Legacy Rodeo except in the case of a verified medical or veterinary emergency.
Medical or veterinary documentation may be required by the rodeo committee.
This policy is necessary to assist with stock contracting, scheduling and overall event management.

CANADIAN HIGH SCHOOL FINALS RODEO
CANADIAN HIGH SCHOOL FINALS - FRIDAY, AUGUST 7 - SUNDAY, AUGUST 9, 2026
Entries will be Open starting on the last day of your Provincial Finals. Please enter as soon as possible. Your provincial secretary will monitor entries and confirm roll ups as needed.
Top 6 High School from each event
Top 5 Junior High from each event
Top 2 from North of the Border Qualifier Rodeo from each event
FORMAT:
2 Long Go Rounds + 1 Short Go Round
Top 12 from each event advance to Short Go
Top 12 determined by fastest time on 2 runs and highest score on 2 rides (Ties will be broken by points earned)
Champions will be determined by fastest time on 3 runs and highest score on 3 rides (Ties will be broken by points earned)
Points are used to determine High Point for Junior High Girl, Junior High Boy, High School Girl, High School Boy
Points are given in 20 placings. They start at 200 and go down by 10.

Added Money: $500/event

Buckles to Champions in each Go Round. Buckles awarded to the Canadian Champion in each event.
Scholarships:
$250/event champion
$500/high point boy
$500/high point girl
TURNOUTS
Contestants may turn out of the Canadian High School Finals Rodeo up to two weeks prior to the event and receive a refund of entry fees and applicable charges (Less $25 administration fee).
Within two weeks of the event, refunds will only be considered in the case of a documented medical or veterinary emergency.
